The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for full cycle recruitment, with a strong focus on proactively sourcing, interviewing, and assessing candidates. You will actively seek out and engage with candidates in traditional and creative methods. Utilize effective and innovative sourcing techniques for identifying new talent, including internet searches such as using social media tools (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.), talent campaigns, referrals, cold-calling, and networking. You will proactively engage in networking events, trade shows, campus events etc., where you will develop and promote our brand and strategically create a pipeline of prospect candidates. You will follow the hiring process, booking pre-employment testing and onboard all new hires and process all employee data into the HRIS database.
·       Provide full cycle and high-volume recruitment
·       Creating and promoting job advertisements
·       Managing the AFD career page, including job postings
·       Manage social media (LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram) for the purpose of recruiting
·       Scheduling candidates for prescreening and interviews
·       Sourcing and screening potential candidates
·       Coordinating new hires for onboarding orientation
·       Scheduling pre-employment Fitness testing, Drug/Alcohol Testing, and Criminal Background Checks
·       Ensure mandatory training and continuing education is complete, documented, including HR & Safety training
·       Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, changes to regulations, new technology breakthroughs in HR
·       Follow and implement all HR policy & procedures and companywide initiatives
·       Maintaining Microsoft excel and reporting
·       Support in developing and creating training programs, procedures, documents, and PowerPoints
·       Responsible for accuracy and maintenance of the HR filing system, both electronic and paper
·       Work on HR projects as specified
·       Create and generate regular and ad-hoc reporting analytics when required
·       Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, and employee benefits.
·       Enhance culture through employee interactions.

·       Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in Human Resources
·       Demonstrated experience in full cycle recruitment, including proactive candidate sourcing
·       Proven ability to build strong relationships with multiple business leaders, and influence decisions related to recruitment and hiring practices
·       Exceptional candidate relationship management skills with the ability to build and grow connections
·       Ability to manage time and deliver results for multiple business units with competing priorities
·       Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written along with experience communicating effectively to a diverse internal customer group is essential.
·       High school diploma, GED or other equivalent
·       Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management an asset

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting. There may be a need to attend to situations on work sites.
·       Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
·       Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required.
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some overtime and after hours’ work may be required.
Travel to various worksites and customer premises may be required.
