Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Personnel will be responsible for packaging lubricants products into various containers.  The Warehouse Personnel must load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting, and use any necessary equipment, e.g. forklift, etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS  

Receiving

  • Prepare receiving dock to accept incoming product
  • Match product with receiving documents
  • Operate a Forklift in a safe manner to move received product
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • May lift product and/or stock merchandise up to 70 lbs, according to documented procedures
  • Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking.
  • Oversee the secure and accurate unloading of deliveries.
  • Assist in the taking of inventory
  • Sort and distribute incoming deliveries
  • Perform quality audits for the condition of shipped incoming items prior to signing off.
  • Report discrepancies to Manager

 

Shipping

  • Fill orders and prepare for shipment using proper packaging for safe delivery
  • Follow current standards and procedures.
  • Oversee the secure and accurate loading of deliveries
  • Problem solve for any cases of missing documents
  • Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
  • Make deliveries with a company vehicle as assigned

 

Packaging/Order Picking

 

  • Package lubricants into various container sizes while following filling procedures
  • Pick branch and customer orders

 

OTHER KEY SKILLS (or product knowledge)

  • Lubricant product knowledge considered an asset

 

EXPEREINCE

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a warehouse setting
  • Operating a Forklift

EDUCATION

Highschool Diploma or GED

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office/field setting. There may be a need to attend to situations on work sites.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Exposure to noise, dust, odors, fumes and oils may occur. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and listen.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some overtime and after hours’ work may be required.
