Award Lubricants Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) DEXRON® VI is a next generation fluid approved for use in passenger car and light truck automatic transmissions that require a General Motors DEXRON® VI or earlier generation DEXRON® fluid.
AWARD ATF DEXRON® VI is particularly recommended for use in new GM 6-speed automatic transmissions, and is fully backwards compatible with older GM automatic transmissions. AWARD ATF DEXRON® VI is recommended for service fill in passenger cars and light trucks that require a GM DEXRON® transmission fluid. It also may be used in industrial and mobile hydraulic systems operating over a wide temperature range.
Suitable for use in all applicable GM automatic transmissions. Not recommended for transmissions requiring MERCON of Ford Type F ATF.
